Late last night Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida, was stormed by a lone gunman, who has now been revealed as 30-year-old Omar Mateen.

He shot at the crowd of clubbers, reportedly leaving 42 injured, and 20 dead.

The attack struck fear into many, leaving people to run for their lives.

The harrowing texts sent by 30-year-old club-goer Eddie Justice, to his mother, Mina Justice, as he hid in a toilet have been revealed.

The clubber sends his mother a text saying: "Mommy I love you. In club they shooting."

After which his mum replies asking what club he is in. He tells her and then asks her to ring the police.

After telling her that he's trapped in a bathroom, Eddie chillingly sends a message saying 'I'm gonna to die' and 'he's coming'.

Mina was outside the club trying to contact her son, telling reporters that 'he has us, and he's in here with us,' was the last text he sent.

The texts were revealed by WFTV, and it is not yet known whether Eddie survived the attack.

Our thoughts are with all those affected by the tragic events of last night.

OneBlood has also put out a call for blood donations in the wake of the attacks. Anyone in the Orlando area willing to donate should contact oneblood.org or call 1.888.9Donate.
