Obama Has Revealed What He Really Thinks Of Donald Trump

Obama Has Revealed What He Really Thinks Of Donald Trump

That old saying 'you don't know what you've got 'till it's gone' seems to be ringing true in America right now. Even before Obama has made way for President-elect Donald Trump, people are already missing him.

It remains to be seen what the future holds but some people have certainly made it clear they are about as keen for Obama to leave as they are to be the next in the chair for root canal surgery.

The soon-to-be former president has said what he really thinks of his replacement following his campaign triumph after he often criticised him during the build-up of the election.

"The people have spoken," he said during a meeting with the press on Monday. "Donald Trump will be the next president. Those who didn't vote for him have to recognise that that's how democracy works.

"I don't think he is ideological, I think ultimately he is pragmatic in that way and that can serve him well as long as he has got good people around him and he has a good sense of direction.

"I think what'll happen with the president-elect is there are going to be certain elements of his temperament that will not serve him well unless he recognises them and corrects them."

It seems like a really nice and honest way of saying 'he's a bit shit, isn't he?' without actually saying it.

Obama recently sat down with his successor and, after the meeting, said he'd spend more time with Trump in order to give him more guidance.
