Floyd Mayweather Has Been Showing Off His Purse From Pacquiao Fight

"At the end of the day, it's them Benjamin Franklins that matter to me."

In case you were hoping to see Floyd Mayweather drag himself out of retirement for either a rematch with Manny Pacquiao or a dream bout with Gennady Golovkin, don't get your hopes up. 'Money' is sitting on more green than Scrooge McDuck and has taken to Instagram to show how little he cares about anyone's opinions of him and his career.

The 49-0, five division world champion showed off his fight purse from his May 2015 points victory over Manny Pacquiao which earned him a cool $100,000,000. Pacquiao, who has returned from retirement this year to win the WBO International and lineal welterweight titles as well as the WBO Welterweight accolade, has opened the door for a rematch against Mayweather, having claimed that he was suffering with a shoulder injury during their first bout.

But Mayweather seems more preoccupied with flaunting his wealth at those who he believes are "backseat drivers so worried about another man's legacy instead of trying to write their own", while also stating: "At the end of the day, it's them Benjamin Franklins that matter to me, so the joke's on you."

Signing off with "Y'all call them watches, I call them time pieces. Y'all call them boats, I call them yachts. Y'all call them houses, I call them mansions. Y'all charter jets and we own jets. #TMT", it's safe to say we shouldn't be expecting Mayweather to be leaving the Benjamins behind to step in the ring with Pacquiao, Golovkin or even McGregor, especially as he's got his own strip club opening in Las Vegas soon, which will probably keep him distracted well into his late 60s.

That being said, Mayweather can have all the jets, yachts and mansions he wants, but I had Chicago Town pizza and chips for my dinner three times last week. I'd like to see the smug bastard match that for luxury.
