Great Britain Move To Second In Olympic Medal Table After Max Whitlock Wins Gold

Great Britain have moved into second place in the Olympic medal table after Max Whitlock's gold medal in the men's pommel horse.

Whitlock's triumph came after Justin Rose came out on top in the inaugural Olympic golf contest.

The 23-year-old also made history tonight, as Britain's first-ever Olympic gold medalist in the sport, after he beat Team GB teammate Louis Smith.
