Spanish Court Calls For Two-Year Jail Sentence For Neymar

Mean Machine! Mean Machine!

The Catalan Prison Football Team is going to be competing in Spain's top flight football league before long. Javier Mascherano, Lionel Messi and now Neymar, those three alone mean the team will be better than at least part of La Liga!

Neymar has been in and out of court quite a bit over the last few months when answering questions about his dodgy transfer from Santos to Barcelona and about money owing to the Brazilian team.

Today the Spanish prosecution asked for Neymar to be sent down for two years. There's also calls for his dad to face a year behind bars and Judge Jose Perals also called for a five-year sentence for former Barca president Sandro Rosell and a fine of 8.4 million euros!

Of course, just like with Messi and Mascherano before him, it's unlikely the Barcelona star will send a single minute at "her Majesty's pleasure"

It doesn't sound like his new five-year deal is going to be affected by his 'prison sentence'.

Catalan Jail FC better put those Champions League ambitions on hold, for now at least!
