It feels like we've been waiting for UFC 200 forever. There's been more drama and twists than a Christmas episode of Eastenders. Lads... I have an announcement... It's nearly upon us!

UFC (or Ultimate Fighting Championship if you want to be really formal) has put together an incredible 44-minute video which tells you everything you need to know in the lead up to one of this year's sporting calendar's biggest events.

Light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier and interim titleholder Jon Jones will be fighting it out. In the heavyweight division, Brock Lesnar will take on Mark Hunt.

Former champions Jose Aldo and Frankie Edgar will face each other for the interim featherweight belt, and women's bantamweight champion Miesha Tate meets Brazilian finisher Amanda Nunes.

This video explores their mindsets, how they're preparing and even sees what it's like in their gyms as they prepare for the biggest fights of their lives so far.

Here it is, in all its glory!

As you definitely know by now, Conor McGregor will not be in it. This comes after he tweeted about his 'retirement'.

Turns out, he hasn't The Metro reported that it was all down to his strained relationship with the UFC.

It all came to a head when McGregor refused to travel to Las Vegas for a press conference in the lead up to his scheduled fight with Nate Diaz - the only man to ever defeat him in the UFC.

That's why he was pulled out of the UFC 200 card and will now take on Diaz in August.

However, the relationship between McGregor and UFC has remained tense. He said: "We're still back and forth with media obligations.

"It's going on right to this second. It's never-ending. They want to pull you left and right.

"I think some people don't understand how taxing that is, especially coming after a loss like that where I really truly need to look out for me and get myself right and come out the way I need to feel."

Hopefully, we'll see him return in the near future.

Until then, UFC 200 will console us. It starts on July 9.
