Facebook Are Making Another Big Change To Your Timeline

Facebook Are Making Another Big Change To Your Timeline

It's rare that Facebook ever announces changes to the user experience and it's met with fanfare. The announcement for Facebook Live is no different.

However, as with almost everything Facebook has ever changed, people get angry for like a day or two, tweet about how angry they are with the change, and then they get used to it.

Before long, you can't even remember what Facebook was like before the change and we all get on with our lives.

Now, onto Facebook Live. The new feature actually launched last year to a few public figures as a test of sorts but was rolled out to the public only recently, with everyone in the US now able to use it.

It's essentially a live streaming service so self-important people can update you with what they're doing with themselves live. You know those annoying 400-second Snapchat stories? That, but on Facebook.

The new Live feature brings filters to the videos as well and will eventually allow you to doodle on the video while live.

People will be able to comment as normal and give 'Live Reactions' as well invite their friends to watch the same live video as them with a new button.

The new features are rolling out to iOS and Android 'in the coming weeks' but there's still no confirmation whether this is globally or still only in the US.

We shall see.
