In the past I've never thought of covering the webcam and audio port on my laptop with tape because I always thought that's what a paranoid person would do. However, I've now seen a picture of Mark Zuckerberg with tape on his webcam and audio port and now he's making me paranoid!
The CEO of Facebook posted a message on the social media platform to congratulate Instagram on hitting 500million monthly users earlier this week but some people noticed his little DIY hardware hack.

Apparently, the director of the FBI, James Comey, does the same thing.
"I put a piece of tape over the camera because I saw somebody smarter than I am had a piece of tape over their camera," he said.
To be fair to Zuckerberg, considering he's the richest millennial in the world, is probably afraid someone, somewhere, is trying to hack his shit so it makes sense for him to be extra cautious.
Then again, maybe he just knows the Illuminati is always watching. Yeah, that's right. WAKE UP SHEEPLE.
