Unbelievable talent.

A 16-year-old girl has made an app that encourages schoolkids to talk to each other in an attempt to combat bullying.

Natalie Hampton from Sherman Oaks, California, created 'Sit With Us' after she sat alone every lunchtime of her seventh grade year. T

She moved schools and has apparently now settled in.

The basic idea of the app is to help students find somewhere to sit during lunchtime before getting there. Students can set themselves as 'ambassadors' and post 'open lunch' events where anyone can join in.

Speaking to NPR's 'All Things Considered', she claimed that the reason why she thought an app was necessary was because it stops children from being rejected from social activities publicly.

She explained: "This way it's very private. It's through the phone. No one else has to know.

"And you know that you're not going to be rejected once you get to the table."

It's such a good idea and it looks like people are already taking to the concept.

Natalie continued: "People are already posting open lunches at my school," she said. "So, I'm very excited that things are already kicking off with a great start."

I know what you're thinking, how the hell did a 16-year-old girl design this?! I feel old.
