In a shocking revelation, one person has claimed that couples who broadcast their relationships on social media tend to be the ones that break up the most.

We've all seen a picture on the 'Gram of your high school sweethearts clinking their cocktails on a balcony bar, captioned 'Love my boo! #citylife #nighttime #cocktails #nextstopsorehead! #bringonthenight' and then a status a day or two later saying 'I guess the ones we love the most can hurt us the hardest' or some bollocks, the boyfriend having been caught entertaining a 45-year-old social worker behind ASDA. Sexologist Nikki Goldstein explained to Daily Mail: "Often it's the people who post the most who are seeking validation for their relationship from other people on social media.

"The likes and comments can be so validating that when someone is really struggling, that's where they get their up from - not the person making the gesture, but what other people will say about it."

Nikki also said when people boast about their relationship on social media that it could be a giveaway of their own possessive problems, AKA 'stay away from my boyfriend/girlfriend you bitch/bastard!' Nikki says it's rubbish and will not benefit in any way to a relationship.
