A 27-year-old former French teacher has been struck off after she had sex with a teenage pupil on his prom night.
The ex-teacher in question, Isabelle Graham, is believed to be a practising Christian and the incident took place in 2014.
In a picture which emerged shortly after the sexual relationship, she is seen lying in bed in a hotel room in Edinburgh while what is reported to be the pupil she slept with stands in the doorway of the room.
The picture is said to have been taken on the student's prom night, but Graham claimed she was 'the victim' and insisted that her drinks must have been spiked.
However, a lawyer for the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) today dismissed her claim as "speculation" and Graham was judged unfit to teach and barred from the profession by the GTCS disciplinary panel.

Following the allegations, Isabelle, who was reportedly saving herself for marriage and was engaged at the time, left Whitburn Academy in West Lothian, Scotland.
"Throughout the footage there's no sign Ms Graham is under the excessive influence of drugs or alcohol," DS Keith Mailer said at the hearing. "The way she moved and conducted herself suggested someone who was making conscious decisions."
According to the Daily Record, the teacher's now-husband, Andrew Wilkie, represented her and also believes that she is telling the truth.

The allegations against Graham were that she spent three hours alone drinking with the teenager, sharing a bed with him and "repeatedly engaging in sexual activity". The picture was taken by another pupil, who was sharing the room with his friend.
Following the inspection of CCTV footage, there is no evidence to suggest that Graham was spiked, but did show her and the student kissing.
