Transgender Lee Carter is someone who went for many years without having sexual intercourse because he was trapped in the wrong body. But now, after having finally losing his virginity with a bionic penis, Lee has spoken about the occasion.

For 40 years he was uncomfortable in his body and now, at 49, has spent £60,000 on creating a male body.

The Mirror reports that part of that money was spent on using skin from his arm and making a pump inside a silicone testicle to make him erect.

Four years after the op, he and his partner Leanne have done the deed, which he said was 'incredible'.

"I waited a long time, but it was worth it. It was incredible and we both enjoyed it so much we didn't stop all night," he said. "And then we started again in the morning."

Sounds like they did enjoy it.

Having been a woman called Lisa for four decades, Lee believes that he is a gentle and good lover.

"We were both a bit nervous but it was wonderful and I couldn't be happier," Leanne said.

The pair met after Leanne came across Lee's story in the press, and after reading his book Living With Lisa. They chatted on the phone and were pretty much besotted very quickly.

"We both felt a really strong connection to each other. I knew she was the one and she felt the same," Lee said. "It just felt right. I had to see her. When I called her I told her where I was she came straight over."

Prior to meeting Leanne he had said that he didn't want to sleep with just anyone and would rather find the right woman.

He drove about 200 miles from his home in Clacton to surprise Leanne and meet her for the first time in person.

"I was nervous but a few beers definitely helped. I knew everything worked but it was just because it was the first time with a woman," he said.

"I couldn't believe it was finally happening and I was losing my virginity as a man, but more importantly with someone whom I cared deeply about and who felt the same about me."

Leanne and Lee are now considering moving in together.

Lee's transformation began in 2009 when he began underwent hormone treatment, before having his breasts removed in 2010, along with having the phalloplasty to create the penis. It was finished in 2012 when a pump was fitted to enable erections.
