If there's one thing Jaws has taught us it's that film production quality in the 1970s was very low. It also made it very clear that you should always have your wits about you in the water.
Simone Gutsche, an aspiring German model and actress, failed to notice a huge shark behind her while frolicking in the sea, much like the woman in the opening scene of Steven Spielberg's classic.
Fortunately for Simone, people frantically waved and shouted at her until she noticed that there was a huge predator circling in the background, prompting her to get out of the water.

The shark was around 15 feet behind the part-time model, and someone happened to picture its fin sticking out of the water.

"It was lovely on Cocoa Beach," she told German newspaper Bild. "Nobody in the water and only a few couples on the beach. The loneliness was really beautiful.

"Then a couple started to wave at me. I wanted to be friendly as well so I waved back at them.
"I was so scared that I didn't put a foot in the water for the rest of the day."
It's a shame she stayed out of the sea, but it could have been worse - she could have been bitten and torn to shreds by the cold blooded killer. So, you know, silver linings and all that.
