Alright for some.

Anyone who is, or has been, a student will tell you that at some point or another they've probably considered selling their limbs just so there's a bit of extra cash in their pocket.

Cassandra Jacqueline is a uni-goer who, despite being broke, doesn't have to sacrifice her arms or legs to travel around the world in luxury.

The 21-year-old languages student from Adelaide, South Australia doesn't rely on her minimum wage job as a waitress, but instead falls back on the wallets of various rich blokes.

She joined the dating site Miss Travel and has since been on a number of all-expenses-paid trips abroad, including places like Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand, Bali and Japan.

Although it's a rather unorthodox form of dating, Cassandra thinks she could never go back to the old Nando's and two-for-one cinema dates that can be the university dating scene.

"In the last year I've been to places I could never have visited alone, costing at least $50,000," she said. "It's been amazing to enjoy new cultures with someone new by your side. Plus, they cover the cost of it all so you don't have to worry about a thing."

On the contrary to what you're all probably thinking, there's no sex involved, or at least it's not a given. People have commented on her ways, comparing it to prostitution, but she says there is on expectation.

"I do a lot of research before I meet a guy online in a foreign country and there are ground rules. There's absolutely no pressure to have sex," she said. "I've had the best holidays because of the strangers that want to take me on far-away dates. It's honestly killed normal dating for me."

Typically, a date will consist of Cassandra flying business class to certain destinations, meeting her date and then relaxing in lush hotels with pools, drinks and food, before being whisked away for a shopping trip.

In fairness, going to Dubai or somewhere for a first date isn't bad, but I reckon most people are fine with a pint of lager and a packet of crisps.
