Singer Chester Bennington could reportedly be buried next to Chris Cornell, who passed away earlier this year.

The rock star, who sang the theme song 'You Know My Name' for the James Bond film, Casino Royale, died suddenly back in May in Detroit.

The two singers had a close friendship and, following Cornell's death, Bennington shared a long post on social media as a tribute to his mate. The post thanked him for allowing him to be a part of his life and for being an inspiration.

He was also asked to play a part at Cornell's funeral, giving a speech and performing a rendition of Leonard Cohen's 'Hallelujah'.

Bennington committed suicide on what would have been Cornell's 53rd birthday.

TMZ has claimed that there is a space next to Cornell's resting place at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, with a source at the cemetery claiming they're expecting a call from Bennington's family.

Since his death tributes have poured in from his Linkin Park band-mates, fans and the entertainment industry.
