Disturbing footage of four teens torturing a man on Facebook Live has emerged.

The four suspects, two men and two women, who are all believed to be 18 years old, have all since been arrested and will likely be charged in the next 24 hours.

The video, which lasts an agonising 30 minutes, seems to show a young man tied up in the corner of a room. He is believed to have special needs. It appears to show the man being punched, kicked, and having his hair cut until his scalp bled. At one point, cigarette ash is flicked into the wound.

The video was posted to Facebook by Brittany Herring, but it has now been deleted.

The Guardian reported that at one point one of the attackers can be heard shouting, 'fuck Donald Trump', and, 'fuck white people'.

A man can be heard saying: "I'll torture the fuck out of you." While another adds: "There's going to be a murder here."

Police superintendent Eddie Johnson said that the four would face 'the full weight of the Chicago police department'.

He added: "[A] Video of a brutal act towards an adult male with mental health challenges made its way onto social media,

"The images in the video put on display the brazenness of the offenders who assaulted the victim and then broadcast it for the entire world to see."

Police commander Kevin Duffin was asked if the, 'fuck Donald Trump', and, 'fuck white people', comments meant that the attack constituted a hate crime. He said that investigators are attempting to determine, 'whether or not this is sincere or just stupid ranting and raving'.

The victim apparently attends the same school as one of the attackers. Duffin added that this could be a kidnapping, as the suspects stole a van in the suburbs and 'brought him out to Chicago.'

Not only that, but the victim had been reported missing. He spent at least 24 hours (but possibly up to 48 hours) with the suspects.

Police said that patrol officers found the victim on Tuesday and that he was very confused and then taken to hospital.
