Vexed Bull Takes Matador Downtown Weeks After He Said Animals 'Have No Rights'

Karma with horns.

A French bullfighter has just been handed a hot plate of revenge pie by an enraged bull only weeks after saying animals "do not have rights".

Sebastian Castella, 34, rubbished anti-bullfighting campaigners by claiming: "Like all animals, bulls do not have duties, therefore they do not have rights."

Performing recently at the Bullring of La Santamaria in Bogota, Castella came face-to-face with karma in the form of a ruck-hungry bull and only barely lived to tell the tale.

Watch as Castella flirts with danger using his purple and yellow cape to anger and bemuse the animal, only for it to charge at him and catch one of his legs.

Not satisfied enough, the bull then goes back for dessert, whipping up Castella all over the shop like he's a piece of Styrofoam.

Luckily for the Frenchman, he came away from the ass-handing with only minor injuries and even carried on the rest of the bullfight.

Castella has previously commented on the state of animals rights, saying "There are so many double morals in this debate, if there weren't then no animal activists would eat meat or have a castrated pet."

Santamaria has only re-opened this year after major Gustavo Petro decided to close the ring in 2012.
