Every now and again we all get a bit insecure, leading us to scroll through our Facebook photos searching for times when our waistlines were thinner and faces weren't so tired and old.
Unfortunately for us, we can't Google images of ourselves with the keywords 'hot', 'fit' or 'gorgeous'. There are people that can, though. People like Katy Perry.
The 32-year-old recently made a return to the charts with the floor filler 'Chained to the Rhythm'. It's not quite on the level of 'Roar', or 'Last Friday Night' as far as guilty pleasures go, but it's tough not to nod your head when it comes on and there's a pint in your hand.

Anyway, Perry took to Twitter to reveal that she searches for 'hot' images of herself when she feels insecurities about her body, after posting two pictures.
The first was one of her in a sports bra back in 1999, with a computer that would look out of place in your nan's house.

She then shared a post which showed her locked in a Facetime conversation.
During the video chat she was getting a massage to sort out her 'stressed jaw', showing off some pretty unflattering angles of her face. We've all been there, haven't we? You think you're fine and then all of a sudden BAM, the front facing camera captures more rolls than there have ever been on sale in Greggs.

Following the two posts she shared an image of herself wearing very few clothes and, by the looks of it, making lemon juice. Nice.
What catches the eye, though, is the top of the screen. There it shows that she's searched on Safari for "Katy Perry hot".
She accompanied the upload with the caption: "Was feeling insecure about my last two posts so".

I mean, you can't really blame her. If we had those sort of pictures strewn across the internet, we'd search for them too.
In other news, she's playing a dangerous game with 13 percent battery, while she's searching on the web AND using Instagram. Get it charged, Katy.
A lot of her fans rushed to comment on the picture, paying her compliments as well as telling her that she shouldn't feel insecure about her appearance, whether it's nowadays or many years ago.
