Liam Gallagher Gets Irish LADs Into His Gig For Free

Liam Gallagher Gets Irish LADs Into His Gig For Free

"Geezers."

In the past Liam Gallagher has gotten a bad wrap because of his rock and roll attitude, with many people labelling him a hooligan, arrogant and former Beatle George Harrison claiming he'd 'missed the bus'.

Despite this view on LG, those closest to him describe him as a really funny guy, as well as a nice one.

You'd be forgiven if his genuineness and kindness wasn't the first thing to hit you while watching YouTube clips of days gone by, but his recent post certainly shows it.

Of late, Gallagher has been reveling in his solo career, embarking on a short tour of the UK, playing the Manchester One Love concert and releasing his first single under his own name, 'Wall of Glass'.

People are quite enjoying his comeback, too. His single has been dubbed 'a return to form', and his ever growing social media presence is something we can all get on board with.

His most recent activity online was sharing a video of him meeting a group of youths on the street of Dublin, where he played a gig at the Olympia Theatre on Monday.

He pulled over to have a chat and a picture with the 'yoots', as he calls them. However, as his car door is about to shut, he stops it and asks if they've got tickets to his concert in the evening. They don't, so he gets them to jot their names down and they're on the list.

The best part of it all? As they leave, LG saying 'geezers'.

He obviously made this group of lads' days, as they got to meet him and get into the show for free. Not a bad day, is it?

The singer kick started this run of shows at Manchester's O2 Ritz on Tuesday May 30, donating all the proceeds to the families of the victims of the Manchester terror attack.

He had a few tricks up his sleeve in his hometown, playing old Oasis songs along with new original ones, as well as inviting a former band member on stage.

Of course, it wasn't older brother Noel, but it was original Oasis rhythm guitarist Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs to play 'Be Here Now'.

Watch a clip of the show here...

The full set-list he played that night, as well as the rest of the tour, were:

'Rock 'n' Roll Star'
'Morning Glory'
'Greedy Soul' (New song)
'Wall of Glass' (New song)
'Bold' (New song)
'Paper Crown' (New song)
'D'You Know What I Mean'
'Slide Away'
'It Doesn't Have To Be That Way' (New song)
'You'd Better Run, You'd Better Hide' (New song)
'Universal Gleam'
'Be Here Now' (with Bonehead)
'Live Forever'

As you were. X
