Shopping online is proven to have many benefits, but it is also proven to have pitfall upon pitfall.

Not trying before buying, having an incompetent delivery system, or wrong items turning up are just a few examples.

However, whatever may have occurred to you in the past when it comes to online shopping, probably isn't as bad as what happened to Noeleen Green.

Noeleen ordered a belly button bar off the usually reliable Amazon.

What you would assume would be a fairly straight forward package, post and deliver situation, turned weird when a 'Vaginal Intercourse Anal Sex Weapon', arrived instead of the jewelry.

The 28-year-old, from Birmingham, posted a picture of the blunder to Amazon's Facebook page, expressing her confusion, state of shock, and the horror her family went through.

Having issues reported to them will not be new to Amazon, and dealing with them is probably straight forward - however that was not the case for this incident.

Amazon replied to the post on Facebook, including a flurry of anal puns.

Given the serious nature of Noeleen's complaint, the last thing she expected was an insensitive comment when dealing with her situation.

According to the Mirror, Noeleen said: "I am still coming to terms with the horror that has been caused to myself following the backlash of stick that I received on social media. I have lost faith in Amazon and their products, and won't be shopping with them again. I have young children in my house whom are now questioning the item and asking when we can set the game up and play."

Amazon have apologised for any distress caused to Noeleen.
