Childhood photos are the best. They provide endless laughs and remind us how important it is that mushroom haircuts never make a comeback. However, there's a bit more to this one and the Internet is losing its shit over it.
Okay, so, Chinese couple Yiqin Lu and Hedong Zhang were choosing photos to put in their wedding album when they came across an image of Zhang, taken about 16 years before the pair met.
At first glance, it just looks like a standard holiday snap, the type where your mum's like 'go on, stand there and put your arms by your sides, and say cheese!' and then she tells you how handsome you look?

However, the couple spotted a lady stood in the background in a red coat who looked pretty familiar. Turns out the woman in the shot is actually Lu's mother!
She confirmed it was her by digging out a photo which showed her in the exact same spot wearing the exact same outfit. So not only was mama Lu photobombing her son-in-law before photobombing was even a thing, she was also photobombing her son-in-law before he was even her son-in-law. Freaky, huh?
Both families just so happened to keep the ticket stubs from their trips to the Giant Buddha statue at Ling Shan Mountain and the dates matched up, confirming their finding. They also discovered they had travelled on the same bus that day.

According to a HuffPost translation of Hangzhou Daily, Lu, 25, said: "This is incredible.
"If there hadn't been a picture, I would have thought this type of story were a fantasy. Now I do believe in destiny."
She added: "My husband said, 'Although we didn't know each other then, the skies must've planned this for us 16 years ahead of time'."
What are the chances, eh?
