The Plastic Fivers Have One Major Flaw And We've Had A Go

The Plastic Fivers Have One Major Flaw And We've Had A Go

Unfortunately, you can't make money from this.

Let's get straight to the point, everything about the new fivers going for thousands on eBay is now as boring as Noel Edmonds being an after dinner speaker, with non-alcoholic lager in hand.

We've seen it all: 'this guy drew a fiver', 'this fiver had AK-47 written on it', and 'Britney Spears wiped her arse on a £5 note and now it's worth millions'. The latter is false, but it outlines the ridiculousness of the whole thing. It is said, though, that Chris Evans is trying to sell one as things are pretty tight after his Top Gear departure.

This, however, is something new. If you use an eraser on the note, you can rub out our Liz's face. It's going viral, people, it's a thing.

We thought we'd try it. But then we realised that unless you're an artist no one has used a rubber since 2002. So, it became more of an achievement to simply find one.

Eventually, someone pulled a pencil case relic out of their arse and we got our hands on a 'bluey'.

At first, it seemed that the whole thing was as bullshit as X Factor's legitimacy. But after going for a while, and scrubbing pretty hard, we managed to remove the Queen's eyes and make her look like she'd taken a hit on a bong. If you try hard enough, you can erase pretty much the whole thing.

In all honesty, I'm not entirely sure what you can do with this information. Unless you carry an eraser around in your wallet, and it accidentally rubs on your money for an extended period of time, this is a situation you're never going to experience.

Print Centre Manager Stuart McLean had been experimenting with the note, which inspired others to take stationary to their legal tender.

Aside from that, do you reckon the Queen ever gets sick of her own face?
