When I was younger I wanted nothing more than to grow up to be Postman Pat. The man was a fucking legend, his cat was top bollocks, his red van may as well have been a pimp wagon, and he had the badass theme song to go with it.
Sadly, as I grew older and my youth died out, so did my dream to emulate my letter posting hero.
However, Larissa Sladkova is now serving as a reminder to me that you should never let your dreams die out.

Sladkova is known for her skimpy outfits, double F boobs and weather reports, but she is now undergoing a drastic career change.
The Russian has put herself forward as a candidate for the Russian Party of Pensioners in local elections. Yep, the semi-naked weather girl is entering politics.
She said: "I am a person like anyone else. Why can't I do politics? I have all the right skills for it.

"I am smart enough and my weather forecasts don't mean anything."
Sladkova explained that she had chosen the Russian Party of Pensioners because she wanted to defend the rights of elderly people, but also because she needs to think about when she calls it a day from reading the weather.

"These are the most disadvantaged people in Russia," she said. "I have to start thinking about my retirement as well."
Despite her drive and motivation, which I admire, her Instagram account isn't very politician like. Could you imagine Theresa May uploading some of those videos?
