Given that we live in a world that is literally crawling with fucked up people who manage to make Donald Trump seem like a decent bloke to have a bevvy with, it's odd that we're still shocked when another unbelievable clodpate makes their way into the news.
This 40-year-old Chinese man epitomises that group as he's been arrested for getting his 12-year-old 'wife' pregnant.
The man had been passing off the young girl as his 20-year-old wife - which screams 'life sentence' anyway - and has now been arrested after he took her to hospital for a check-up after knocking her up.

"It's obvious she is just a child," a member of staff at the hospital in Xuzhou, China, reportedly said.
A woman claiming to be the pregnant 12-year-old's mother-in-law took her to check that the foetus was healthy when she was three months pregnant. Failing to realise that not all people are as thick as them, they didn't contemplate the possibility of someone noticing that he was a raging paedophile.

He reportedly said to nurses: "I took her here to be examined - just do your job. Stop asking so many questions," which is exactly the type of thing a 40-year-old who got a kid pregnant would say.
After an investigation, police found that the girl had no identification and suspect she was either abducted or bought as a foreign bride from southeast Asia.
