However, until certain situations arise, you can never know how to react.
Today is one of those times were the unexpected presented itself, and people didn't know what to do. WhatsApp broke.
According to users of the messaging app, they're unable to send, receive or even open chats, the Independent reports.
How will the group chat be updated? How will we contact others? It's not like we have at least five other ways of messaging people, is it?
The problem is reportedly with the servers, with it increasing over the last few hours according to the website Down Detector.
People were up in arms, devastated that their communication can only come via Facebook messenger, Twitter, Snapchat, text, phone call, Instagram and so on.

Europe, South America, Africa and the US are the areas thought to be affected by the crash, according to the Mirror.
The company is yet to comment on the breakdown, leading to cause for concern.
Look at it as a positive, without your phone lighting up and going off every ten seconds, you can get a half decent night sleep and not have to worry about missing out on someone getting roasted in the group chat.
