The most meaningful tattoo there has ever been.

People often talk about the travesties that have befallen us over the last two decades or so. But I can say, with my hand on my heart, that the death of Harambe, on May 28, 2016, is the worst of them all.

Tributes have flooded in for the late gorilla, with many Facebook pages and Twitter profiles being made for him, and at this point, if you don't know who he is, click here.

A girl has gone above and beyond, however, and gotten a tattoo in memory of Harambe after a Twitter bet, and has no regrets at all.

Laura committed the future of her leg to her 85,000 followers, and, obviously, they wanted the tattoo to happen.

"I had been posting Harambe memes non stop and my friend dared me to get a tattoo of him, so I said if I got 2,000 retweets, I would," Laura told Buzzfeed. "I got my other friends with big accounts to push it too. It hit the mark pretty quickly... no regrets at all."

Obviously, some people were quick to insult Laura's new tattoo and label it as 'stupid', but these are people you don't want to be associated with. A lack of respect for Harambe is a lack of respect for humanity.

"It's so funny to me that people even make a big deal out of this kind of thing," Laura told Buzzfeed. "I'm already covered in tattoos and most of them don't really mean shit."

Well, congratulations Laura, because you've just got the most meaningful tattoo that's ever existed. Well done.

RIP Harambe, May 27, 1999 - May 28, 2016.

Gone, but never forgotten.
