Eyebrows are an important part of many a woman's beauty routine, so you can imagine the horror upon discovering that a treatment intended to make them look constantly 'on fleek' has actually left you with painful scars and no eyebrows at all.

Amanda Coasts, a mum from Melbourne, claims that she was the unlucky victim of the botched beauty treatment.

She posted photo's online that showed how the attempted 'microblading' had left her with red-raw scarring- ouch.

In the viral Facebook post, Amanda accused the beautician of contaminating the procedure through improper conduct.

The beautician was allegedly treating multiple patients at once, without changing her gloves in between, making it easy for infection to be carried.

The clinic has since denied all allegations and stated that the infection must be a result of improper aftercare and said that they have 'never had any issues of infection' before.

They plan to sue Amanda for defamation, but Amanda has also sought legal representation for the case.

According to Amanda, the pain started only a day after the treatment but when she contacted the clinic, her claims were immediately dismissed.

"I tried to explain that the skin was actually coming away and she kept brushing me off," she told the Daily Mail.

As her skin worsened, Amanda went to the doctors every other day to ensure that the infection didn't escalate any further.

The medical costs now exceed the that of the treatment itself, leaving her penniless and in pain.

The swollen condition of the skin above her eyes left Amanda having to dress the wounds every day as well as taking antibiotics and steroids to treat the infection - so much for the treatment supposedly making it 'quick and easy to get ready in the morning'.

The photo's of Amanda's agonising 'new brow look' is enough to persuade most of us to stay away from the needle for a while...the results are not always what we bargain for.
