Bono has been named as one of Glamour's 'Women Of The Year' - despite the fact he's a bloke. We think.
Unbelievably, it's the first time a man has been named in the list. In fact, looking back it seems to have been nothing but women for some very strange reason. Who'd have thought it?
According to NME, the reason why he's on the list is all down to his gender equality work. His most recently campaign, 'Poverty is Sexist', has been widely praised. The campaign is focused on helping women from the world's poorest countries get access to basic human rights, such as food, clean water and education.

Speaking to Glamour , Bono said: "I'm sure I don't deserve it. But I'm grateful for this award as a chance to say the battle for gender equality can't be won unless men lead it along with women.
"We're largely responsible for the problem, so we have to be involved in the solutions."

He then added why he felt men may be hesitant to help fight for feminist issues: "Men can be a bit thick, and I include myself. Honestly, things that ought to be obvious sometimes are not.
"We can do much more than we think we can. Leaders are accountable to all of us. If they don't support women and girls, vote them out of office. To quote Nelson Mandela, 'It always seems impossible - until it's done. "
Well there you have it. Congratulations, Bono.
