When I have stomach ache I literally think of the worst.
I often think 'I don't remember swallowing a screwdriver, because that has to be the only explanation for this much pain'.
In reality, it's usually the dodgy curry I had the night before and I was just being dramatic.

This woman, however, was not being dramatic at all when she complained about her stomach ache.
Doctors found that the 26-year-old had been feeling pain, tenderness, nausea, couldn't eat, and was suffering from a fever, because a condom was wrapped around her pelvis.

Before knowing this was the issue, the woman was rushed for emergency surgery after a scan at a hospital in Cameroon revealed her abdomen was swollen, bringing the conclusion that she had appendicitis.
Describing the case in the Journal of Medical Case Reports, doctors said: "We blindly dissected the appendix and found an incomplete piece of rubbery material which was consistent with a condom."
It turns out that she had accidentally swallowed the custard catcher whilst blowing away her boyfriend. The sheath reportedly came loose and then accidentally slipped down her throat.
Apparently, as she digested the condom it tore up into smaller pieces as it traveled through her gastrointestinal tract.

The 26-year-old didn't worry about the whole thing as she discovered parts of the condom in her poo five days later - little did she know there was piece still clinging to her appendix.
Apparently this is the first case of its kind, so y'know, every cloud.
