Let's face it, the majority of us don't give two fingers about the fashion industry. We endure shopping trips like a funeral, curling our lips at those who refer to it as 'therapy' and are more or less happy with anything that covers our fruit and veg.
In recent times, there's been a surge in the old idea that 'less is more'. Particularly with women, many of whom have come together to 'free the nipple' in a bid to end social media censorship.

This new trend, the glitter nipple, bedazzled boobs, whatever you wanna call it, doesn't exactly free the nipple. In fact, it does the opposite, but it's daring all the same.

Model Binx Walton sported one during Paris Fashion Week's Saint Laurent show.
It's a jump from their usual burlesque stage platform. Dita Von Teese has previously worn them while on tour. Earlier this year, Lady Gaga donned a pair in her episode of American Horror Story.
I personally can't see it passing beyond the confines of the catwalk. If I went out on the tear wearing one of these I'm pretty sure I'd end up getting arrested. Or worse, just laughed at.
