Is This The Worst Airbnb Listing Ever?

Is This The Worst Airbnb Listing Ever?

It must be...

Over the years, Airbnb has hit the headlines when guests have indulged in less-than-reputable deeds in rented rooms. Take, for example, the orgy that caused $50,000 worth of damage. Or the porno movie that covered the room in piss, shit and semen.

The company has also hit headlines for listings that have generally caused mass confusion. Like the guy who listed the igloo he built during the blizzard in New York. Or the 'world's largest grave' that can be rented in Paris.

None of those tales of Airbnb listings are quite as bad this one though.

On the face of it, a private room for £8 per night in London looks like a dream. The cancellation policy is flexible, smoking is allowed, it's handicap accessible, child friendly and pets are allowed. The listing also makes a point of letting you know that you do actually get a real bed and it's suitable for events.

Not too bad, huh? Well, allow us to tell you all the things this listing doesn't have.

For starters, there is no bathroom. There is no kitchen, no internet, no TV, no heating, no air conditioning, no washer and no dryer. There is no elevator in the building, no indoor fireplace, no buzzer/intercom, no doorman, no pool, no hot tub and no gym. There is no breakfast and there are no hangers, no iron, no hairdryer and no laptop-friendly work-spaces. There is no roof. There are no walls.

The listing is outside a set of garages in Peckham, south London. Now I know Peckham is trendy right now, but this is ridiculous.

Is this the very worst Airbnb listing there's ever been? We think it might be.
