Model Spends $6k On Eye Implants To Make Her Look Like A Cartoon

As we all know, sometimes we'll pay over the odds to get what we want.

Once I forked out over £80 because I really wanted a ticket to a Noel Gallagher concert. All in all it was worth it but the fact that everyone around me had paid half that amount stung a bit.

Pixee Fox, a 26-year-old model from Sweden, kind of takes it to the extreme.

Her 19th cosmetic procedure was surgery on her eyes - an operation that'd give her permanent implants to make her look more like a cartoon character.

In total, she has spent $125,200 (£84,000) on cosmetic surgery, including the removal of four ribs to give her an 'hour-glass figure'.

Her eye implant procedure cost $6000 (£4,100).

Be warned, there is very graphic content in the following video.

Pixie, who wanted to recreate a look similar to the likes of Jessica Rabbit and Aurora from Sleeping Beauty, said: "This is something I have wanted since I was really young. I really wanted to have a different eye-colour.

"I first heard about this surgery three years ago and as soon as I heard about it I knew I had to have it. The colour I've gone for is sea green. It's really extreme and something that you couldn't have naturally."

Back in April, the 26-year-old travelled to India, where Dr Suraj Munjal performed the operation at the Spectra Eye Hospital. She had two intraocular implants inserted into her pupils through a 2.8mm incision.

Usually the procedure, which takes about 15 minutes, is only used to correct iris abnormalities, hence why the model had to travel to get it done.

The risks of the operation, as you'd imagine, is blurred vision, however Dr Suraj Munjal is yet to encounter any problems.

Pixie is currently recovering from the operation but plans on having more to achieve her dream cartoon like appearance.
