Phone Salesman Sends Creepy 'Legs For Days' Text To A Schoolgirl

Phone Salesman Sends Creepy 'Legs For Days' Text To A Schoolgirl

A Plymouth schoolgirl was sent the message from a Three worker.

The mobile phone company Three has suspended one of it's workers who allegedly sent a text to a schoolgirl asking her out on a date.

Tara Waterfield, then 17, claims she was sent the message from the salesman who could not stop looking at her.

The text mentions that Tara is "absolutely fucking gorgeous" and has "legs for days."

The spelling, punctuation, and grammar is shocking - for that alone she was right to flag it up!

Tara, along with her mum, had visited the Plymouth Drake Circus Three Store in December; receiving the text only 20 minutes after she had left.

The employee seemingly knows what he's doing is wrong - starting his message: "This is so naughty of me."

But he doesn't hold back...

"I just had to say you are absolutely fucking gorgeous, legs for days girl mmm mmmm mmm yes.

"From the guy who couldn't stop looking," which is followed by four emojis which include love heart eyes and a subtle sly winky face.

In a last ploy to woo Tara, which has massively backfired, he says he's "already at the bar waiting" for her.

It would appear the man got hold of her details from the shop's database.

Three is now investigating the issue and has issued a statement apologising for the incident.

Tara's dad, Brian - aged 71, complained to Three and was offered £150 compensation.

The mobile phone salesman seemingly didn't keep his thoughts subtle, even while Tara was in the store.

The Devon schoolgirl said: "From the minute I walked in I noticed a guy staring at me.

"Every time I look around he was staring and smiling at me.... after a while it was getting creepy."

Tara admits being scared by the text, firstly by not being able to walk past the store but later being "worried" that he would show up at her front door or "come and find me somewhere."

This isn't the first time using emojis has got someone into trouble, and it probably won't be the last.

That man in question will only further his troubles by using them in his text, but what about being told you hadn't got the job you interviewed for... with an emoji!

Megan Dixon was told a simple 'no' from Miller and Carter with a classic laughing emoji.

The fine-steak company claimed it was sent in "error," but it was still a brutal mistake to make.

Tip of the day... you're probably better off having a Nokia 3310 to avoid any embarrassing slip-ups.
