Millions of Australians have been working from home for what's felt like an eternity, following the coronavirus outbreak.

As a result, we've all gotten used to holding virtual meetings with our colleagues, or even to keep in touch with friends. But if you've yet to derive any joy from logging into Zoom or Microsoft Teams, then do we have a surprise for you.

Guide Dogs Australia will be hosting a virtual meeting with its new puppy (aptly named Zoom) tomorrow at midday and you're all invited.

A statement reads: "As many Australians stay connected via video conferencing, what better way to brighten their day than a lunch-time on-screen explosion of the goodest boys and girls there are.

"The meeting will be held at lunch time on Zoom for people around the country to tune in from their makeshift WFH offices and get their daily dose of lovable Labradors.

"These pups will also be joined by some fully-fledged Guide Dogs, already changing the lives of people with blindness or low vision.

"It's a great way to learn all about the Guide Dog journey and the role these special dogs play in the lives of many Australians - lunchtime learning has never been this fun."

You can access the Zoom meeting by clicking on this link and there's a Facebook event for anyone who wants to revel in the excitement before it all kicks off at lunchtime.

More than 600 people have already clicked attending and 1,400 more are interested in attending the event. Can you imagine that many people on a call all at once?

Please, for the love of God, mute yourselves otherwise it will be one hell of a chaotic mess.

If you miss this event for whatever reason, there is still a chance you could have an animal join you on your virtual work meeting.

One farm in America has decided to make meetings more fun by giving you the opportunity to have a goat or llama drop in on your call.

The Sweet Farm, an animal sanctuary in Silicon Valley, is giving people three options to have a bit of livestock added into your work call.

"Need a fresh face to brighten up your video conference meetings?" the website asks.

"Want a fun experience for an online Happy Hour? Looking for a virtual tour? The Sweet Farm Animal Ambassadors are here for you."

If you want a virtual tour of the farm, it'll set you back US $65 for up to six people, for a 10 minute 'Corporate Meeting Cameo', you'll have to fork out $100 and for $250, you can get a 25 minute 'Corporate Meeting Virtual Tour'.

But it's not just goats or llamas that you can pay for. Those keen on the idea can also request sheep, pigs, cows and turkeys.
