A cat that has a permanent scowl has become something of an internet sensation.

Kitzia lives in Florida, US, with her owner Viktoriia Otdielnova who started an Instagram account in her name, chronicling her various states of unrest.

And since kicking the page off back in April 2018 Kitzia has gained an army of fans, with more than 48,000 people now following the account.

Commenting on one of her photos, a follower joked: "Lol my kids make the same face!"

While another wrote: "Lmao I cannot get over these facial expressions."

"Plotting an evil plan," put a third.

While another just wanted to be Kitzia's friend, adding: "I just met you and I love you so much already!!!! You are the one I want to sit and give everyone dirty looks with!"

But she's not the only feline taking the internet by storm of late.

Meet Louis, a six-year-old Persian cat who might just be the perfect feline to fill the boots of the recently-passed Grumpy Cat (aka Tardar Sauce).

Louis, from Austin, Texas, can't help but look permanently annoyed - whether he's playing with his furry pal, four-year-old Monae, or snuggling with owner Michelle Axis.

Medical scribe Michelle, 26, said: "Louis is a full breed Persian. People often ask if he has a genetic disorder because they think his facial features are an exception, but he is completely normal.

"People usually react saying he looks like a human old man!

"They love his big 'marble eyes' that he squints often."
