A couple of hunters in Florida spotted an absolutely massive alligator chomping on some ducks.

Kevin Stipe and Cass Couey, who own the PRO HUNT navigation app, managed to capture video footage of the ginormous gator while they were out duck hunting last week.

Speaking to Fox 35 News, Stipe said the alligator was around 13ft long and was snapping up and eating the ducks before they could retrieve them from the water.

In the clip, the two hunters can be heard to say: "Here we go, number two of the day" as the alligator swims up to one of the ducks and snatches it out of the water.

Seeing a duck stolen by the gator, the other man says: "OK, you're fed, now get out of here."

The clip, which has been shared to social media, has racked up millions of views.

Couey added: "It was just another day in the swamp for us. But I'm glad people are loving it!"

Earlier this month, another scarily huge alligator was spotted in Florida.

Footage captured on the Valencia Golf and Country Club green, showed the the animal casually making its way across the grass before taking a dip in the water.

Due to its incredible size, many thought it was Photoshopped, but it was confirmed to be legit by Matt Devitt, a meteorologist with WINK News.

He said: "HUGE FLORIDA GATOR! Yep, this monster is real." Yikes.

Florida is home to more than two million alligators, some of which top 10ft in length.

Last week, one man was hailed a hero after footage of him rescuing his dog from the jaws of an alligator was shared online.

The clip, which was filmed in Florida, showed the unnamed name man wrestling with the alligator that had its sights set on his pooch.

He can be seen prising the animal's jaws open to free the teeny dog.

Sharing the clip to their TikTok account, Melissa Chipps said: "Would you? Walking the dog in Florida around any body of water this is a risk we take. Florida wildlife be savages sometimes."
