Workers found a snake in a rainforest that was so huge, it had to be lifted from a tree by a digger. You can see a clip of the animal here:

The whopping reptile was reportedly found on the island of Dominica in the Caribbean, and some social media users reckon it could be the biggest snake ever.

Footage shared on TikTok by user @fakrulazwa shows the snake being hoisted off the ground by a digger - and despite being held fairly high up in the air, the reptile still almost reaches the floor as it unfurls.

The clip then cuts to the men attempting to put the gigantic snake into the boot of a car - rather you than me, guys.

While the species of the snake in the video is currently unknown, the native species of Dominica is the deadly boa constrictor, which can grow up to 4 meters in length.

Since being uploaded to TikTok, the clip has had more than 300,000 views with social media users reeling at the size of the animal.

One person commented: "That looks like some world record s**t."

Another said: "Oh a dinosaur."

While a third person asked: "How is the driver?"

Earlier this year, an Austrian man had an unfortunate run-in with a snake, after he sat down on the toilet and ended up being bitten by a python that was lurking in the toilet bowl.

The 65-year-old, who lives in Graz, felt a sharp pain in his genital area while sat on the loo.

After feeling the 'pinching' sensation he quickly stood up and was greeted with the sight of a five-foot long albino python.

The serpent belonged to the 65-year-old's neighbour and it had escaped from its enclosure and somehow made its way into the man's toilet.

The albino python is one of 11 non-venomous snakes owned by the 24-year-old Austrian bloke and he had no clue the slithering creature had got out until the toilet incident.

Pythons thankfully aren't venomous, however, the man was taken to hospital for treatment for the bite as medics were worried the wound could become infected from the toilet water.

The snake also didn't suffer any harm during the watery encounter and it was cleaned off and returned to its owner. Questions are being asked about how the snake managed to travel from one flat to the other.
