Mum Terrified By 'Demonic' Spider As It Emerges From Sofa
Joanne Baker, 34, had been watching a film with her five kids when the creepy crawly suddenly appeared at their home in St Neots on 13 August.
To make matters worse, they'd been watching Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, in which Harry and co. must take on a giant spider called Aragog.
"It's the scariest one I've ever seen," she said.
Baker admitted to turning into a 'big hysterical mess' when her four daughters and son - aged between nine months and 13 years - spotted the eight-legged freak, although her offspring understandably fare much better either.
"I've got five screaming children," Baker recalled.
"It was horrible and traumatic."
Thankfully, Baker was bravely able to get rid of the terrifying insect using the old school method, having placed a glass over it before taking it outside.
But now she's thinking about selling the sofa off after the spider emerged from it, having only bought it on Facebook a few days ago.

"We're worried about there being eggs in it," Baker added.
"I've still got the jitters about it."
The fact that it's still out there somewhere does not fill be with joy, I won't lie.
Mind you, at least Baker's eight-legged pal wasn't of the same calibre as the whopper of a tarantula found outside a home in Texas recently.
Teouna Thomas and her husband Ken couldn't believe their eyes when they saw the huge spider casually dangling down in front of their window earlier this week.
Speaking to WISTV, Teouna said: "We were horrified! We've never seen any spider this huge in our lives!"
She added: "We often sit out on our patio at night with no lights, but we won't be doing that anymore!"
Showing that not all heroes wear capes, husband Ken stepped up to get the spider, which had crawled onto the top of the door by this point.
"My husband caught it in a plastic container," Teouna said.
"When he put the container against the door, I hit the window on the opposite side, and it jumped in."
Giant spiders and jumping definitely should not be a combination.
