Most people would do almost anything to save their pets from impending danger and this teen proved it when she went head to head with a brown bear in order to save her dogs:

Hailey Morinico, 17, charged at the animal which was on the wall of her back yard trying to paw at the dogs on the ground.

Without thinking much Morinico, from California, charged at the bear and pushed it away from the building as she then turned to get her beloved dogs inside and to safety.

Now, speaking to Good Morning America, the youngster said: "Honestly, I did not know it was a bear until right after I pushed it.

"I didn't know I had it in me to be honest. Who does that? Who in their right mind pushes a bear?"

You do, you fearless b******.

Also speaking to CNN, she said: "I was like, oh, my gosh, there is a bear, and it is taking my dog. It is lifting her off the ground. If I don't do something about it, who knows what might happen to her."

Despite only suffering with a sprained finger, experts are convinced that Morinico is lucky to be alive.

Wildlife specialist, Ron Magill told GMA: "There is nothing more dangerous than a mother bear with her cubs. Never run at an animal and never make physical contact. That could be disastrous."

After realising that surveillance cameras had captured the encounter, it was posted on to Hailey's cousin's TikTok account where it has been watched nearly 70 million times.

On top of that, there are over 9.3 million likes on the clip and over 175,000 comments from people with mixed opinions about the incident.

One wrote: "All I got to say is your cousin brave because I would have let them dogs die cause I wasn't going out there."

Another added: "Am I the only one who feels bad for the bear getting knocked off the wall?"

Others admitted they would do their same for their furry friends, with one writing: "I love my dog. I would have reacted the same way."
