We've had a good run of weather recently, it's been lovely for most of us in the UK but America is even warmer.
With this hot weather comes taking full advantage and one of the best things is getting into the beer garden to drink as you bake. Maybe before the flooding arrives if it hasn't already.
One man in the US went out drinking but in the process he left his two dogs in the car when temperatures hit a scorching 32C. That is shameful.
Kenneth Schnabel, 54, said that he forgot that he had left his dogs in the car in Brooklyn, New York, because he was drunk, according to a police report.

The Metro reports that the animals were spotted in the back of a car on Saturday morning at around 10:30am and one is now fighting for it's life but with a 'strong heart beat'.
The temperature at the time was between 27C and 28C, meaning that inside the car would have nearly doubled that within an hour.
NYPD Special Ops tweeted: "ESU rescued two dogs from a locked car located on 64th St. in Brooklyn.

"ESU quickly gained access & administered oxygen while cooling the dogs down.
"The dogs were taken to an animal hospital where one is in critical condition w/ a strong heart beat. The owner was arrested."
We hope these guys pull through as quickly as possible.

Schnabel was arrested soon after the dogs were found and later charged with criminal possession of a knife, aggravated animal cruelty, neglect of an impounded animal and leaving an animal in a hot vehicle.
People have taken to Twitter to thank the officers for saving the dogs and arresting their owner. One wrote: "THANK YOU and thank you for arresting owner....pray he/she never is allowed to have an animal again".
Another added: "Thank you for your quick response to these dogs in danger God bless all. Glad you arrested the owner maybe someday people will learn."
And a third commented: "Thank you 10 x's over...can't fathom why some persons don't seem to care for the lives of animals or children in hot vehicles.."
