"What it’s like living in Australia.”

A TikTok user in Australia managed to capture the exact moment a hench kangaroo had positioned itself outside someone's front door, making it look as though it had been employed as some sort of marsupial bouncer.

The footage was filmed by a local called Caragh, who is based in New South Wales - where she has been renovating a holiday home at Callala Beach near Jervis Bay.

Caragh, who posts under the TikTok handle @caragh19 and has more than 10,000 followers, posted the clip with the caption: "Literally reversed back to see this."

By the sounds of things, she'd been driving along the road when she clocked the massive animal standing at the top of someone's drive, appearing to guard the property.

After doing a double take, she reversed the vehicle and drove back to the house, zooming in on the giganitic kangaroo - which, in turns out, made a pretty effective doorman; I certainly wouldn't be going anywhere near it.

Caragh also joked in the video: "What it's like living in Australia."

Of course, while kangaroos have something of an adorable, cuddly nature in cartoons, out there in the real world we know it's a bit of a different story - with one recently attacking a child after he tried to defend his sister.

Another has been terrorising a small country town for some time now, having attacked three people and wrecked the impeccably pruned gardens of several residents over the years.

The violent, six-foot beast ate its wicked way through a garden that had been lovingly tended for three decades by Margherita Caruana, from Queensland's South Downs Region.

Here's how hench kangaroos can get.

But the animal has also launched attacks on people, with one of its victims being an elderly woman who was left with blood on her neck, shoulders, and legs.

After hearing the woman screaming, Kyran Sprott ran to the aid of the victim.

He told 7News: "I asked her what happened, and she said she had been attacked by a kangaroo.

"She was really shaken up and bleeding all over. I've got blood all over my arm.

"It came from the back and got her from the back and pushed down on her.

"She got scratch marks and was bleeding from either shoulder, down on her leg and at the front of the body too."

As well as the older woman, a tourist from New Zealand was also attacked, as well as the wife of a pub owner called Shane Toy.

The gigantic 'roo attacked Mr Toy's wife outside their pub, but a customer intervened with a bar stool and then the customers managed to get the bar under lockdown.

Apparently, the beast had its front paws on the shoulders of the Kiwi tourist and was preparing to kick him before it was scared away.
