A woman has hit out at a bakery, saying they gave her an 'embarrassing' cake for her little girl's birthday.
Alexandra Schroeder, from Michigan, was left fuming with the unicorn-inspired cake she ordered for her daughter's fifth birthday party.
The mum claims she spent more than a month planning her daughter's special day and handed over $370 (£288) to Whipped Bakery for a cake and space to hold the party.
Schroeder says she was initially put out when she got to the venue and saw there was only one table and six chairs for the party of 13.

She claims that when she told staff there wasn't enough seats to go round she was told the 'guests could stand'.
However, it was the cake that really upset Schroeder, she told 19News: "The horn came out in a shape that was so embarrassing.
"It had fingerprints on it and was not gold. I could tell that it had been handled. When I asked to see the cake pre-party, before my guests arrived, I was told it wasn't finished."
Like many people, Schroeder says she took to social media to share photos of the cake, but claims staff accused her of leaving the premises 'trashed' and with a 'negative balance'.

She added: "They are now slandering me saying that I have a balance owed and I've paid this bakery $370.
"After the party the owner took it upon herself to preemptively block me from being able to leave a Facebook review."
Schroeder has said she doesn't even care about getting her cash back and that she is only speaking out to warn others.
LADbible has reached out to Whipped Bakery for comment.

This is far from the first cake cock-up we've seen - just last month a bride-to-be was left with an, erm... unusual looking creation after requesting a peacock-themed cake.
Rena Davis, from Griffin, Georgia, paid a baker $300 (£245) for her dream cake, which featured two birds sat atop a couple of tiers of sponge cake and a bunch of smaller cupcakes designed to look like feathers.
But instead of her pretty peacock, Davis was presented with a cake which she said resembles a 'lop-sided turkey with leprosy'.

After sharing the cake mishap online, the baker did the right thing and offered her a refund. Meanwhile, the blushing bride had to make do with a couple of shop bought cakes instead and didn't let the confectionery-drama ruin her day.
