I'm not gonna lie to you, I haven't watched a single frame of Rio 2016.
As I recall, I was so impressed by London 2012 that after the games drew to a close, I turned to my friend and said "Straight up, I ain't gonna watch a single frame of Rio 2016." And I've kept to my word.

But millions of people have watched Rio 2016 because, generally, the Olympics are great.
And I always tend to forget, and foolishly take for granted, that to smaller countries, even winning one gold medal can mean the world to its citizens.
Take Fiji for example, a tiny island country in the South Pacific Ocean, who has just won its first gold medal in rugby.
Here's a bunch of great footage coming in from Fiji. Arguably, the most lit nation on planet Earth this weekend.
I would say I feel like a dick for brushing off the Rio Olympics like I have, but I ate a Pot Noodle for breakfast today so I'm already there to be honest.
