Ed Sheeran Has An Incredible Amount Of Tattoos
Ed Sheeran is addicted to getting tattoos.
In the video for his new single Shape of You, Ed Sheeran gets physical. He's not dancing around, nor are we seeing photos and videos from his youth like from the last album. Instead, it's got a bit sexy and a bit dangerous.
He is training for a big fight, practicing his boxing moves and working out - something a bit different for the twenty-six-year old best friend of Taylor Swift. And we see him with his top off. It was a pretty brief shot but enough to show us a very different side to Ed Sheeran!
And the violently ginger singer is a rainbow - he's covered in tattoos!
We don't usually see them as he covers them up most of the time, but he's got two sleeves and his chest is a patchwork of tatts.
He does draw the line at getting his face or neck tattooed. He told The Sun: "You will never see them in a suit. I want to get married and look great. But if I hadn't have got them out in this music video then no one would know I even had them."
Hmmm already thinking about marriage are you, Ed? And I think we knew you had a couple of tattoos. But no one was expecting this!
He gets the ink done to commemorate something happening in his life. Visiting a new place, a music achievement and sometimes just because he really likes ketchup.
Ed explained he got this tattoo for a song he wrote:"It's a little broken love heart with a no entry sign for a song on the album (Hearts Don't Break Around Here)."
He got the lion on his chest in 2015 because he had three sell-out gigs in Wembley. "The England crest is three lions, but I got one instead," he said.
He paid tribute to ketchup in 2012 when he played a gig in Ohio. He tweeted: "No one is too good for ketchup. Ketchup is too good for you."
Guess it's his fave condiment.
Ed Sheeran Hit Justin Bieber With A Golf Club
There's a lot about the singer we don't know.
He's admitted to hitting Justin Bieber with a golf club - on purpose!
He told The Guardian: "We were in Japan. We'd been out to a dive bar. He just drank water and I got hammered. Then we went to a golf course, and he lay on the floor and put a golf ball in his mouth and told me to hit it out of his mouth. I was like, 'Fuck, I need to aim this properly,' and I swung.
'And you know in films when someone gets punched, and you hear that fake sound, like a slap? But in real life when someone gets punched, you hear that dull thud, a bit sickening? I heard a sound like the last one, and saw his security guard looking at me like...I'd cracked Justin Bieber right in the cheek with a golf club. That was one of those 'What the fuck?' moments."
The Beliebers are not going to be happy about this!
