I think I'll pass.

Sadly, being the oldest person in the world generally means that you don't hold on to the title for very long. That's just life. But with every 'new' oldest person in the world, they always get asked the same question: 'What is the secret to a long life?'

After 116-year-old Susannah Mushatt Jones passed away earlier this week, the title of 'world's oldest person' went to Emma Morano. Her birth date is November 29, 1899 (also 116-years-old). She was born in Italy.

She has revealed that the secret to her long life is two raw eggs and 100g of raw steak a day.

Gross, right? Unless you're one of these strange people who like their steak blue then I doubt you'll be trying this any time soon.

When she was a teenager, her doctor suggested that she ate raw eggs for her anemia. And the habit has stuck.

She also puts it down to leaving an unhappy marriage as she 'didn't want to be dominated anymore'. She split from her husband in 1938 and stayed single. Although she has said she had a few 'suitors'. Go on, Emma.

However, the fact that she's been alive throughout three different centuries is mind-boggling.

When she heard that she was now the oldest person alive, she said: "My word, I'm as old as the hills." according to the Telegraph.#

What a woman.
