As cities in the UK become more and more polluted (Glasgow and London, I'm looking at you), more and more people are turning to sustainable energy to help save the environment before we end up living in some post-apocalyptic wasteland with no wifi. That would be the worst.
So a French company has created an amazing ship that is gliding around the world spreading the message of clean energy. The ship has basically no carbon footprint. Isn't that amazing?
It runs on hydrogen gas that is created on board. In the future we won't talk about horsepower any more, but we will mention what sustainable energy the vehicle has. And this one has wind turbines, solar panels, and hydrogenators - which take H2O from the sea and deconstruct the molecules into energy.

It releases oxygen back into the air - which is always great in these polluted times, and hydrogen which is compressed to propel the ship forward. It's the first vessel in the world that can do so. So not only does it use the environment in a safe and clean way, but it also gives back to the earth.
Pretty cool, huh?
It's called the Energy Observer and its mission is to sail around the world promoting the development of renewable energy.
It's become a symbol of the power of clean energy. In the next six years, the ship will make 101 stops in 50 different countries.

Not only does it help the plant, it looks pretty cool, too. I'd love a ride in this ship - move over superyachts and get this baby instead.
