Boxer Unrecognisable After Brutal Ten-Round Beating On Undercard For Jake Paul

Miriam Gutierrez suffered 236 punches to the face while on the undercard for Jake Paul Vs Tyron Woodley

A female boxer who was on the undercard for Jake Paul's rematch against Tyron Woodley suffered 236 punches to the face by her opponent and now looks totally unrecognisable.

Miriam Gutierrez was completely dominated by the unified featherweight world champion Amanda Serrano on Saturday (18 Dec).

Serrano ended up winning the bout via unanimous decision 99-91, 99-90, 100-90 - at the Amalie Arenain Tampa, Florida.

However, it's the post fight pic she tweeted of the pair which has got everyone talking.

Serrano posted a photo of herself pictured next to the battered down Gutierrez and she looks like a completely different person.

The champion was pretty humble with her caption and wrote: "I want to thank my dance partner Miriam Gutiérrez She didn’t come to lay down."

"I don’t care who is in front of me I’m not coming to Play!

"She just told me she weighed 160lbs today. Thanks God I worked with my girl @nisa_rodriguez5 who was about 165.

"God is Great. I’m Blessed!"

According to the Daily Mail, Serrano, talking about Gutiérrez, said: "She's a tough fighter. She did say she was in better shape this time than when she fought Katie Taylor because she had a year lay-off.

"Now, she just had a fight last month that she won. I fought the best Miriam Gutierrez and I beat her.

"This isn't a sad or bitter loss, it's a dignified one, it was a war from the get go until the end. It's been an honour.

"I wanted to be a complete fighter. The knockout, if it came, it came. But I just wanted to make sure that I beat her.

"The strategy was to just go out there and just beat her, beat her every single round and dominate her. Just box and show that I'm an all-around fighter.

"That I could do whatever I want. I can brawl with her. I can box with her. Body shots, head shots."

Well, if you haven't heard by now, you must be living under a rock as Jake Paul defeated Tyron Woodley in their rematch on Saturday after Tommy Fury pulled out of the fight.

After five uneventful rounds, with boos echoing around the crowd, Paul caught Woodley with a devastating right hook in the sixth, which sent him face-planting on to the canvas.

Speaking after the fight, Paul said: "This guy [Woodley] is a legend and respect to him for taking the fight with two weeks' notice.

"It was a tough fight. I had blood in my eyes. I had the job done.

"I was setting the punch up the whole fight. He didn't see it coming. Like a lumberjack, timber. It's got to be the moment of my life."
