Amy Schumer and Emily Ratajkowski were arrested yesterday after protesting the controversial US Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
The comedian was among hundreds that turned up at the Hart and Dirksen Senate Office Buildings in order to challenge Kavanaugh's nomination after he was accused of sexual misconduct by three different women.
Videos of Schumer being detained by police and escorted from the building have circulated among social media where she was asked if she 'wanted to be arrested' to which she replied 'yes'.

At the same time, model and actress Emily Ratajkowski was said to be arrested after she posted about in on Twitter.
She said: "Today I was arrested protesting the Supreme Court nomination of Brett Kavanaugh, a man who has been accused by multiple women of sexual assault. Men who hurt women can no longer be placed in positions of power."
