Angelina Jolie turned heads on the red carpet where she sported a striking 'lip cuff'. Check it out here:

The actor attended the premiere of Eternals in Los Angeles yesterday (Monday 18 October) with five of her six children while donning the eye-catching lower face accessory.

Austin-based jeweller Nina Berenato said she made the lip cuff and was delighted to see the star rocking it on the red carpet.

Taking to Instagram, she wrote: "I can't believe it!!!

"We got to create one of my custom lip cuffs for Angelina Jolie to wear for the premiere of Eternals and I am losing it seeing this full look come together tonight... Angelina looks incredible!"

The look also caused a bit of a stir on social media.

The 46-year-old actor plays warrior Thena in the sci-fi saga, which features millennia-old aliens who have been secretly living on Earth, waiting for the right moment to jump into action.

And while Jolie's lip cuff may have been the main talking point from the premiere, it is the gold spandex suit she wears in the movie which her kids are more bothered about.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Jolie said: "Would you wanna see your mother wearing that?

"I don't know, they haven't seen the movie, but your mum walks in with a gold spandex outfit and gold hair, they're like, 'What do you do for a living? What are you? Get back in your robe.'"

The kids aren't massively into this.

The film also stars Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Salma Hayek and Kit Harington, and it was the cast that drew Jolie to the project.

Speaking to Associated Press, she said: "The cast, the diversity that that these would be our new superheroes."

Explaining why the movie is important for her children, Jolie continued: "I think they haven't seen it yet, and I don't think they realise right now what it's going to mean, but they're going to see it and it's going to... I remember watching Black Panther with Zahara [her daughter] when she was little.

"And I remember her siblings watching her and I remember what that felt like.

"So seeing everybody together in one family, it feels a little like our home. And, you know, so when we go and we see this cast, we can joke at home that we could dress up as the Eternals because actually there's a family that we could be."

Eternals is out on 5 November.
