Britney Spears' most recent Instagram video has caused concern among fans, with some thinking she is sending a secret signal, ahead of her upcoming court date.

The 39-year-old former child star could be seen dancing to Billie Eilish in the video, that she filmed herself. Wearing a red top and shorts, she danced to the hit track in her house, while she waits for her upcoming conservatorship hearing, tomorrow.

Sharing the video with her 31.4 million fans, Britney captioned the post: "RED!!!!"

But although it might look innocent on the surface, fans have interpreted the video differently, with many thinking the troubled star has posted a cry for help.

Concerned followers question the video, with one saying: "Doesn't 'red' means something?"

Another commented: "Red is a sign."

While someone else asked: "Does red means code red??"

At the start of the month, a judge denied Britney Spears' request to remove her dad Jamie from her conservatorship.

Despite the pop star's emotional and explosive testimony, court documents that were filed by the Los Angeles Superior Court have revealed the Spears patriarch will remain on the legal ruling for now.

The documents state: "The conservator's request to suspend James P. Spears immediately upon the appointment of Bessemer Trust Company of California as sole conservator of estate is denied without prejudice."

Britney's lawyer, Samuel Ingham III, requested in November last year to have Jamie taken off the conservatorship.

He cited the 39-year-old's fear of her dad and highlighted how she would never perform live again if he remained on the legal binding.

Judge Brenda Penny knocked back the request to have Jamie tossed off and instead appointed financial company Bessemer Trust as a co-conservator.

The documents filed most recently in the Supreme Court are merely a formality confirming Bessemer Trust as co-conservator, however it also cemented how Jamie won't be taken off despite the damning testimony.

It added that Britney appears to still be 'substantially unable to manage his or her financial resources or to resist fraud or undue influence'.

That contradicts what the 39-year-old said in her damning 23-minute testimony.

But since the initial ruling, another court date has been set for tomorrow (Wednesday 14 July).

Since the first hearing, big changes have taken place when it comes to Britney's legal position.

Bessemer Trust, which was set to take over as co-conservator for Spears' estate, requested to resign.

Britney's court-appointed attorney Sam Ingham also requested to resign, 'effective upon the appointment of new court-appointed counsel'.

Additionally, Britney's mother, Lynne Spears, also asked that Britney Spears is allowed to have her own private lawyer.
